How to use

  1. 1Enter the pattern, or /pattern/flags.
  2. 2Set flags such as g, i, m, s or u.
  3. 3Paste the test text; matches update as you type.
  4. 4Check the groups in the table, copy or export it.

Your browser's JavaScript RegExp engine, including lookbehind, named groups (?<name>…), Unicode property escapes \p{L} with the u flag, and the v and d flags where supported.

g – all matches, i – ignore case, m – ^ and $ match at line breaks, s – . matches newlines, u and v – Unicode mode, y – sticky, d – match indices.

Nested quantifiers such as (a+)+ can take exponential time (catastrophic backtracking). Matching runs in a background worker and is stopped after 2 seconds.
